The following information outlines your statutory rights as a consumer in the State of California.
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under California law, you have the right to cancel your contract with us within three business days.
Statutory Language:
You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement, without any penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the original contract seller's third business day following the date of this contract, excluding Sundays and holidays. To cancel this agreement, mail or deliver a signed and dated notice, or send an email which states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect.
Where to send your notice:
By Email: ilana@offmarketmember.com
2. Death or Disability
If by reason of death or disability you are unable to receive all services for which you have contracted, you and your estate may be relieved from the obligation to make payments for services other than those received prior to death or the onset of disability.
A "disability" under this Act means a condition which precludes you from using the services specified in the contract for a period of six months or more, as verified in writing by a physician.
3. Relocation
If you relocate your primary residence more than 100 miles from the service area of Off Market, and we are unable to provide comparable services in your new location, you may elect to cancel your contract. In such an event, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the remaining portion of your contract term.
4. Duration of Contract
In accordance with California law, no dating service contract shall exceed a term of one years. Our standard "Off Market" memberships are typically twelve (12) months in duration.
5. Data Privacy & The "Vault"
In addition to the Dating Service Act, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the 2026 California Delete Act. Your personal data is held in a non-indexed, offline "Vault." You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.
